Hola a Todos

This week was so great! We worked our butts of like always. I told my companion that we needed to work harder and he was looked at me like I was crazy. We have been leaving earlier and doing everything over the top already so I told him we need to talk to everyone in the street. We started contacting in the streets to meet new people and it was so great. We met so many new people this week I loved it! Hopefully we can have new progressing investigators soon!

On top of all that we had a baptism this week. One of the girls from the Garcia family was ready to get baptized so she got baptized! We felt SO happy that the family is trying every day to better themselves!
This week I have been hurrying to finish up the Book of Mormon  in Spanish and I read Moroni 7:47-48. It's so great, it talks about charity. I used it a lot this week with the members. I hope you guys read it and ponder on it! Love you all so much! You all look so happy, that is so great for me. The lord is definitely blessing me by making my family happy! Love you all so much, miss you a tonnnn! My work is here though! We are having transfers next week wow.... this transfer went by so fast but I think my companion is leaving idk we will see! I will let you all know next week!

La Obra Missional (The Missionary Work)

This week was definitely a challenge but every time I write you guys I feel like I overcame a challenge and I'm stronger!! Yeah! Well I have some good news! The family that we have been teaching, FAMILIA GARCIA, have been preparing to get baptized. The mother, she is so awesome and sweet. She was living with her husband but they weren't married. She bore her testimony this last Sunday of what she knows to be true and she told us the next day she doesn't want to be with her husband anymore so she kicked him out of the house so that she could get baptized!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How crazy is that she is so awesome I will take pictures with the family this week to show you them. The oldest daughter is getting baptized on Saturday. She is ready, she knows everything! These people are so humble they are fairly poor but I'm so happy that they will be rich with blessings!
WOW every time I look back I just think of all that has happened here and I am so grateful for all the things I have experienced! I love being a MISSIONARY! Having the name ELDER SANTACRUZ! Man time is flying by..... I just have to work even harder. No time to waste! This week we had a training meeting with the members and it went well. We are hoping the members will work harder with us! We are hoping that it showed them that they can trust us. There are so many bad missionaries who do tigre things so the members don't trust missionaries for that reason. We are already gaining their trust! Well the Lord is definitely helping out!!! ESTOY FELIZ!

Here are some beautiful pictures from this weeks special trip to the beach. Elder Santacruz definitely enjoyed himself to the fullest and the Dominican Republic looks absolutely beautiful in these pictures.

Exito! Success

Hello everyone! This week! was of course successful! We worked a lot with the members and that is what makes me happy more anything, when the members work with the missionaries! I am adjusting to the area! Its crazy that I am living with Latins haha Sometimes I start talking and I forget that I have to talk in Spanish so I start talking in English and they're like COMO (what) haha its funny then I start speaking Spanish! They all ask me questions about English I try to help them. They all want to learn English, so that's good! This week we had some lessons that were just full of apostasy like people are so crazy sometimes. We had a lesson with a guy who was saying that he doesn't believe in the second coming, gosh what has the world come to!
Guess what! The whole zone is going to the beach next week were are going to Nagua, our mission president is so awesome!
We have an investigator named Memphrey. We were teaching the whole family but none of them want to go to church except Memphry, he goes by himself! He's so cool, he has 14 years but the problem is the family is Catholic and the mom wants the whole family to be Catholic so we are going to have to work hard with them! That's what happened this week! It was pretty great! Other than that! I want to give a shout out to MY SIS AND MY POPS HAPPY CUMPLEANOS!!!
